The cardio-biopsy forceps are intended to be used in conjunction with a special introducer sheath/catheter for the biopsy (tissue extraction) on the human heart.
Cardiac-grasping foreceps are used in conjunction with special introducer sheath/catheter for the transluminal extraction (foreign body removal) from the central circulatory system of the human body.

Right ventricular heart biopsy can be performed percutaneously from the right internal jugular vein, left internal jugular vein, right subclavia and right or left femoral veins. Left ventricular biopsy is usually performed from the right or left femoral artery.
The cardio biopsy forceps and cardio grasping forceps are intended to be used uninterrupted for a period of less than 60 minutes under normal conditions.
